The 60mm f/1.5 does a great job of covering the full-frame with only a hint of vignetting regardless of aperture or focus distance. The only lens that beats it is the 70mm f/2. So all the 'cropped' images on this page have in fact only had a little vignetting correction applied. The only problem for some may be that the bokeh does get a little smeary in the corners, but this is not a problem for me! On the half-frame cameras it was designed for it has a 35mm equivalent focal length of 85mm, making it a classic portrait focal length. On full-frame digital, without any cropping needed, it is a classic 'long standard' focal length, similar to the 58mm focal length that used to be very popular on film SLR cameras from the 1960s and 70s. This is, without a doubt, a beautiful lens to use on full-frame… highly recommended!
