After visiting Kensal Green in 2015, my next Magnificent 7 cemetery was Brompton Cemetery (originally known as 'West of London and Westminster Cemetery') in March 2016. Like Kensal Green, Brompton is in the London Borough of Kensington And Chelsea (but this time in the SW10 postcode). Brompton is an architecturally distinguished cemetery with it beautiful curved colonnades and a distinctive domed chapel. Brompton is a very well-to-do part of London, but it is also right next to Chelsea FC's Stamford Bridge football stadium. My visit coincided with the end of a football match which meant it was a one point full of football fans going home, but it has to be said they were very well behaved football fans!!
