Botanics

These photographs were all shot on Polaroid SX-70 TZ-Artistic film. This film was made in December 2008 from Polaroid's last remaining stocks of expired Time-Zero chemicals. It was sold through Impossible Project, the company that Florian Kaps, André Bosman and Marwan Saba set up to buy an old Polaroid factory and restart Polaroid film production. I bought quite a lot of this film before Impossible Project ran out, but of course I have long since finished my last stock. I shed a tear as I waved goodbye to one of my all time favourite films! I continued to photograph plants and foliage using Impossible Project and later Polaroid Originals and Polaroid film with great results, but I don't thing anything will ever be quite a beautiful as Polaroid SX-70 TZ-Artistic. And the colours of TZ-Artistic bueatifully compliment the forms of plants. You can see more photographs shot on This film in the TZ-Artistic gallery
