If I were absolutely forced on pain of death to choose between monochrome and colour photography, I think black and white would win… but only just. I hope I never have to make that choice.

I think it's fair to say that for many of the photographs in this gallery colour really is a necessity. They just wouldn't work in black and white. Other I have tried in black and white and I quite liked the result, but I keep coming back to the colour versions.
