The Olympus Mju of 1991 was so successful that it took Olympus 6 years to produce a follow-up; the Mju II of 1997. The Mju II took things forward with an even higher quality f/2.8 35mm lens, weather proof casing, and considerably smaller and neater body, but it lacked the charm of the original.
I was given this Mju II as a gift soon after it was released by my partner who was really pleased with his original Mju. But within a year or two digital was starting to take hold and I don’t think I ever put more than about 3 films through it. Today it is in almost as new condition, complete with all its original packaging.
