Classic cameras › Olympus Mju II
The Olympus Mju was so successful that it took Olympus 6 years to produce a follow-up; the Mju II of 1997. The Mju II took things forward with an even higher quality f2.8 35mm lens, weather proof casing, and considerably smaller and neater body, but it lacked the charm of the original.
I was given this Mju II as a gift soon after it was released by my partner who was really pleased with his original Mju. But within a year or two digital was starting to take hold and I don’t think I ever put more than about 3 films through it. Today it is in almost as new condition, complete with all it’s original packaging.
