Photography has been a passion of mine ever since I inherited the family Kodak 126 Instamatic at the age of 10. And because I’ve always been something of a gadget geek too, it’s not surprising that I love cameras almost as much as I love taking photographs with them. And there’s something about a design that is strong enough to have stood the test of time that is also very appealing. It all adds up to one thing… classic cameras!

As you will see from this page I have a pretty broad definition of what counts as a ‘classic’ camera. Here you will find everything from a 1920s Kodak folder, to auto-everything SLRs. If I find it interesting I'll find room for it in my collection!

These days my collection revolves mainly around Olympus, Pentax and Polaroid and more recently, Minolta. I’ve always been something of an Olympus fan (ever since I got my 1st ever serious SLR: an Olympus OM3). My interest in Pentax is rather more recent: it began when I bought a Pentax DSLR along with a few legacy lenses to use with it… and it just grew from there! And Polaroid photography is one of my main photographic obsessions, so of course I need plenty of Polaroid cameras so I can use as many different kinds of Polaroid film as possible!
